ICC F13 - A new classification system for diseases of the vitreomacular interface

With the advent of SD-OCT, new insights have been obtained in the classification of the diseases of the vitreomaculair interface. Moreover, the recent availability of pharmacological vitreolysis has expanded our therapeutical possibilities besides surgery. An international panel of experts has created a new OCT-based classification system for diseases of the vitreomacular interface. In this workshop, this new classification
will be explained, as well as its link towards therapeutical options.
