Guidelines online submission of abstracts

The abstract submission deadline is September 16, 2019 at midnight.

  • The online submission system allows you to specify a preference for the format of your presentation (oral / poster). However the OB 2019 Programme Committee will decide on the final format.
  • An abstract is strictly limited to 1.800 characters. All characters inserted, including spaces, count towards the total. During the submission process the number of remaining characters is indicated.
  • All abstracts should be structured as follows: Title, Author, Authors' affiliations, Purpose, Methods, Results and Conclusions. Please note that abstracts without concrete results will not be considered.
  • Case reports will be converted to e-poster presentation.
  • Acceptance letters will be sent by October 1, 2019, to notify the first author of acceptance or rejection together with the time schedule of the presentation. Unfortunately, the complexity of the programme will not allow schedule changes.
  • No more than ten abstracts submitted will be selected by the Programme Committee for presentation as an oral paper, if the first author has indicated that he/she wishes to do so. All other accepted abstracts will be presented as posters.
