Title	ReSTOR Apodized Diffractive intraocular lens : early results
Abstract Nr.	A2070

Purpose	To evaluate the objective and subjective results after cataract surgery with implantation of the pseudoaccommodative foldable AcrySof MA60D3 ReSTOR lens.
Methods	29 eyes from 16 patients underwent routine cataract surgery with implantation of the foldable AcrySof MA60D3 ReSTOR lens. Visual acuity with and without glasses, near and far vision, spectacle dependence, subjective and objective results were measured.
Results	At the last postoperative visit, mean uncorrected distance visual acuity for the ReSTOR MA60D3 was 0.69 (20/30), and uncorrected near visual acuity was 0.95 (20/25-20/20).
Conclusion	The AcrySof ReSTOR MA60D3 demonstrates excellent near and far uncorrected visual acuity.
