Title	Argon laser as alternative treatment for xanthelasma
Abstract Nr.	A1025

Purpose	We tried, by this case report, to evaluate the efficiency of Argon laser as xanthelasma treatment.
Methods	Case report
Results	We report the case of a middle-aged woman with xanthelasma on her eyelid. The patient was treated in two sessions, at one month interval, with argon laser photocoagulations. The lesion responded to the treatment and therapy was very well tolerated. No complication developed after the laser.
Conclusion	Argon laser is a good therapeutic alternative for xanthelasma, as it is well tolerated by the patients and easy to perform.
