ICC-8: Differential diagnosis of ARM and dry ARMD

Age Related Maculopathy (ARM) and atrophic Age Related Macular Degeneration (dry ARMD) are frequent. However there are other macular pathologies that can mimic them. When do we have to suspect other causes than "age" ? How can multimodal imaging help us ? Which general examinations and/or electrophysiologic  and genetic testings can be useful?
