ICC-10: Treatment of macular Edema: the 2015 experience

There are many known causes of cystoid macular edema (CME). These include: Irvin-Gass syndrome, diabetes, age-related macular degeneration, retinal vein occlusion, uveitis, %u2026 Treatment of CME is related to the underlying disease. Depending on the underlying condition, treatment options may include topical or oral medication and periocular or intraocular injections. We will discuss the available options and treatment strategies over time, taking regional availability and reimbursement limitations into account.
