ICC-13: Refractive surgery and lens power calculation for non-refractive surgeons

This course will try to give an overview of most current possible refractive treatments, their indications, contraindications, and drawbacks. It will be a very didactic course for an audience of non-refractive surgeons.

Besides laser surgical techniques, lens power calculations with or without previous corneal refractive surgery will also be explained in a very didactic way. After having attended this course, the attendee should be very familiar with the current possible techniques, results and side-effects in the exciting world of refractive surgery, and he or she will know very well if his or her patient can profit from refractive surgery or not.
