ICC-15: Astigmatism correction during cataract surgery

This course is a pre-requisite to Wetlab 11


This course will provide pragmatic information on surgical correction of astigmatism for the cataract surgeon. Selection of candidates, determination of axis, and surgical correction of astigmatism, either by incisional/femtosecond laser surgery or with toric IOL's will be covered. Toric IOL's on the market will be presented and experience with new high-tech alignement devices will be discussed. Finally, several clinical cases on astigmatism management will be shared with the audience.
