| Title | Contrastgevoeligheid binnen de visuele revalidatie |
| Purpose | Contrast sensitivity has often been reported as a major risk factor for falls in older people and a better predictor for mobility than visual acuity in patients with ocular pathology. Despite its high predictive validity, contrast sensitivity is not assessed on a regular basis. We assessed Pelli-Robson contrast sensitivity in low vision patients to determine the relationship between visual acuity and contrast sensitivity and to evaluate the importance of contrast sensitivity for rehabilitation. |
