Guidelines Speakers OB 2020 Virtual – PRE-RECORDED PRESENTATIONS

Procedure for speakers who will pre-record their lecture

Thank you for presenting during this OB 2020 Congress - VIRTUAL.
You have informed us you will record your presentation and NOT present live.

Deadline submission pre-recordings: at the latest on 20 November.
Go to: www.encyro.com/ob2020 and drop your MP4 presentation.

Questions from the audience may come in by chat to the moderator during your presentation. If possible and if time permits the moderator will answer them or send you the questions that you can answer by mail after the presentation.

The entire congress will be recorded and remains available to AOB members and registered OB 2020 participants in your ophthalmologia.be account until the end of 2020. For postponed viewing (no accreditation possible).

Technical instructions

    Consult the manual on how to record your presentation (document: ETR-Speaker-Self-Recording.docx).

    Please provide a video file containing your slides and talking head (picture-in-picture). You can record yourself using :
    • Zoom (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wp16MNHnBTc)
    • PowerPoint (Windows only: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0iuFe7zJR8)
    • Panopto (see the attached manual), or any other service you prefer
    Important: the video should not be longer than your allocated presentation time.
    Speakers are invited to prepare their presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint either for Windows or Macintosh/Apple.

    Write the title of the presentation and the speaker's name on the first slide indicating any possible conflict of interest (please specify any consultancy relation to pharmaceutical companies, industries,etc..).

    All oral presentations should be given in English, Dutch or French language. The language of the presentation should in all cases be the same as the language of the title and the abstract as shown in the programme.

    The OB Organizing Committee ensures that all presentations are erased from computers used by the technical team.
