2026 AOB Membership Invitation


ACADEMIA OPHTHALMOLOGICA BELGICA - Lidgeld 2026

Dear Colleagues, 

On behalf of the entire AOB Board and all participating scientific societies, we wish you a successful and inspiring 2026. 

With the start of the new year, we kindly invite you to renew your AOB membership (or to become a member). The membership fees for 2026 remain unchanged compared to 2025. 
We strongly encourage you to arrange your membership early in the year, so you can make the most of all member benefits. 

AOB Membership fee 2026 
  • Ophthalmologists: EUR 690 before March 1st, thereafter EUR 790
  • Emeritus members: EUR 180 before March 1st, thereafter EUR 200
  • Residents/trainees: free of charge 
What do you receive? 
  1. You can become a member of up to 4 societies (your selection can be indicated on the registration form). Some of our sub-specialty societies organise scientific meetings, to which you will be invited as a member if you have selected that sub-specialty society under your AOB membership. 
  2. You are warmly welcome at AMICO and OB, with no additional registration fee. 
  3. You may post small ads on the AOB website free of charge.
  4. You can access EyeFo free of charge. 
How to organise your Membership
  1. Log in to your account via ophthalmologia.be 
  2. Go to "My payments" 
  3. Click "AOB Membership 2026" and follow the instructions. Remember: Payment before March 1st will benefit from the early membership fee
AMICO 2026 – 28 March 
The organising committee and the participating societies are actively preparing AMICO 2025, and we hope to welcome you to this virtual meeting (accreditation will be requested). Please mark 28 March 2026 in your calendar.
