Title	Ophthalmic complications after endoscopic sinus surgery
Abstract Nr.	P03

Purpose	To highlight the possible risks for serious ophthamological complications after sinus surgery.
Methods	Three different clinical cases will be described.
Results	The three ophthalmic complications found after sinus surgery were: orbital hemorrhage, blindness and diplopia.
Conclusion	Because of the intimate anatomical relationship between the orbit and the paranasal sinuses, the extra-ocular muscles, the optic nerve and the lacrimal drainage system are prone to be injured during endoscopic sinus surgery. Our three cases show how important these complications can be for the patients.
