Title | Adaptation au scotome central dans la DMLA |
Purpose | Among the ways of adapting to central scotoma, the development of one or several areas of eccentric fixation is the best-known phenomenon. After anatomic destruction of the macula, one area of the perifoveal retina becomes frequently in a progressive way the new oculomotor reference. However there may be several PRL’s (Preferred Retinal Locus). Their use depends on the fixated target or the context in which targets are set. PRL stability is also variable among patients. |
