Title	Macular pseudoholes formation after photodynamic therapy with verteporfin
Abstract Nr.	P13

Purpose	To report the occurrence of macular pseudoholes after photodynamic therapy (PDT) with verteporfin.
Methods	small case series of 5 patients diagnosed with subfoveolar choroidal neovascularization (CNV) and treated with PDT with verteporfin. Analysis and evolution of visual acuity, fluoangiography and optical coherence tomography.
Results	case 1: 58 yo woman, myopic CNV; formation of a lamellarshaped macular hole after PDT. Case 2: 57 yo woman, myopic CNV; formation of a macular pseudohole after PDT. Case 3: 86 yo woman, ARMD CNV; formation of a macular pseudohole after PDT. Case 4: 87 yo woman, age related macular degeneration (ARMD) CNV; formation of a lamellarshaped macular hole after PDT. Case 5: 81 yo man, idiopathic polypoidal choroidal neovascularization; formation of a lamellarshaped macular hole after PDT.
Conclusion	Atypical pseudoholes or lamellarshaped holes may be a rare complication of PDT with verteporfin.
