TitleCataract surgery with RestorR lens implantation : one year results
Abstract Nr.126
PurposeTo study the subjective and objective results after RestorR lens implantation after cataract surgery.
Methods54 patients underwent routine cataract surgery with RestorR lens implantation. Postoperatively, objective signs such as refraction, centration, contrast sensitivity testing and reading ability was examined, as well as subjective signs such as perception of glare, and satisfaction grade of the patient as well as of the surgeon.
ResultsThe patient’s as well as the surgeon’s satisfaction grade was very high. Reading ability was overwhelming, however at a relative near distance. Glare could be problematic in susceptible patients.
ConclusionSelection of the patient is of critical importance for cataract surgery with RestorR lens implantation. If this selection is done well, this lens can give very high satisfaction grades.
