ButCongenital and acquired stenoses of the canaliculi lacrimales due to inflammation, infect or trauma are not so rare and cauce more or less sever tearing. But also the mis-position especially of the inferior puctum lead to simillar problems while the system is free in case of irrigating. The backround of the different diseases is demonstrated and the possibilities and limits of recontructions are demonstrated.
