ICC-W3: Clinical optic disc assessment in glaucoma

Optic disc assessment is crucial in the diagnosis of glaucoma. Five rules for the assessment of the optic nerve head will be taught and extensively illustrated: evaluation of the rim, the peripapillary region, the nerve fiber layer, the lamina cribrosa, and the search for disc hemorrhages. The participants will test their knowledge by evaluating stereophotos with tele-voting. After the teaching session, they will re-assess the same series of photos to check whether their skills have improved.
