TitreOrthoptic problems in age-related ocular pathology
ButThe role of the orthoptist has changed during the last years because more and more elderly patients ask for orthoptic advice. Their main complaints are blurred vision, double vision and ocular discomfort.
MéthodesDifferent orthoptic problems seen in age-related ocular pathology will be discussed as well as the aetiology and their possible treatments.

ConclusionA clear explanation of the underlying problem is mandatory. Optic, orthoptic or surgical correction can often alleviate the complaints.
