ButTo report the usefulness of QuantiFERON TB Gold test in the diagnosis of Ocular Tuberculosis
MéthodesSingle case report.
QuantiFERON TB Gold test will be described.
RésultatsA 25 year old 6 months pregnant indian woman presents with a few days history of loss of visual acuity in one eye.
Her differentials and work up will be exposed, as well as the evolution under anti-tuberculous therapy once QuantiFERON TB Gold came back positive.
ConclusionGamma interferon release assays as QuantiFERON TB Gold could play an important role in the diagnosis of Ocular Tuberculosis.
