DoelEvaluation of the interpretation and application of the Belgian law concerning fitness to drive by ophthalmologists in Belgium.
MethodesData were collected by an ophthalmologist, using a standarised questionnaire. Fifty at random chosen ophthalmologists were contacted by phone.
ResultatenThe answers to these questions demonstrated a big variety.
ConclusieGiven the big variation in answers, there is an urgent need for better defined criteria for fitness to drive.
