Méthodes	Review of studies and abstracts focusing on QOL in glaucomatous patient.
Résultats	Studies have shown that glaucoma patients experience a decrease in QOL mostly in daily activities. This decrease in QOL is positively correlated with the severity of visual field loss bilaterally. Glaucoma patients report difficulty in performing everyday tasks. “Reading” and “outdoor mobility” are the most important concern for these patients.
Conclusion	Glaucoma is a chronic disease where the quality of life issues need to be addressed. The aim of glaucoma treatment should be not only to avoid blindness, but also to prevent decreasing in QOL. The compliance and the persistence is influenced by the QoL.
