Méthodes	From November 03 till March 05 we followed 1000 myopic patients, who underwent customised Zyoptix laser- treatment with the Zyoptix 100 with iris recognition, In 500 eyes a lasik treatment was performed, the other group of 500 eyes underwent lasek treatment The myopia ranged from -1 up to – 10, the follow up was at least 6 months
Résultats	When both groups were compared the enhancement rate seems to be significantly higher in the lasik group. In the lasek group the eyes treated with mitomycin-C didn’t show a different outcome compared to those treated without mitomycin-C
Conclusion	lasek treatment seems to have a higher accuracy and a lower enhancement rate
