TitleStrabismus Back and Forth
PurposeTo present personal experience regarding current state and possible future of strabismus in addition to demonstrating iatrogenic strabismus from different points.
MethodsThe presentation will be divided into three main topics. The first topic will deal with different anesthesia techniques that can be used during strabismus surgery and how we can benefit form such techniques for better understanding of ocular motility. The second topic will present iatrogenic strabismus from different points including; strabismus surgery for management of iatrogenic strabismus, strabismus surgery causing iatrogenic strabismus, and impending iatrogenic strabismus surgery.. The third part will discuss a new approach for management of deep amblyopia. All presentations will be video based.

ResultsThe practicing clinician, clinical researcher and basic researcher will be supplied by an updated, concise overview of some important strabismus areas.
ConclusionTo update and improve our strabismus we must work hardly on evidence based strabismology. Accepting the spontaneous or the supposed may distract us from the truth, so we must be devoted to life long learning and questioning our postulations, even if they seem to work
