| Title | Echographic and OCT - findings of Melanocytoma of the left optic nerve head ( Case report) |
| Purpose | To present a case with Melanocytoma of the left optic nerve head |
| Methods | Echography, OCT, eye fundus, visual fields and fluorescein angiography were used to follow the patient during the last 6 years. |
| Results | Follow up during a period of 6 years revealed no evolution in the findings |
| Conclusion | Melanocytoma ( magnocellular naevus) is a highly pigmented benign optic nerve head tumor. Malignant melanoma must be concerned before the diagnosis as well as during the follow-up. |
