| Title | Interpretation of the Belgian Fitness to Drive Standards |
| Purpose | Evaluation of the interpretation and application of the Belgian law concerning fitness to drive by ophthalmologists in Belgium. |
| Methods | Data were collected by an ophthalmologist, using a standarised questionnaire. Fifty at random chosen ophthalmologists were contacted by phone. |
| Results | The answers to these questions demonstrated a big variety. |
| Conclusion | Given the big variation in answers, there is an urgent need for better defined criteria for fitness to drive. |
