| Methods | Revision of the literature with focus on the COMS reports and data from 2500 uveal melanoma patients in Leiden University and Leuven University. |
| Results | Most important clinical prognostic factor remains the tumor growth and localisation, but histopathological and genetical features can give additional information. The survival in different groups will be discussed. |
| Conclusion | Brachytherapy is a save therapy for uveal melanoma, and shows similar survival percentages compared to enucleation. |
