Title	Cryptococcal multifocal choroiditis as presenting symptom of full-blown AIDS in Rwanda
Abstract Nr.	174

Purpose	presenting a case report of cryptococcal multifocal choroiditis as presenting symptom of full-blown AIDS. Since we failed to find locally the necessary medical treatment in time , this case report might perhaps activate some discussion and exchange about the treatment modalities available in third world countries for opportunistic eye infections in general.
Methods	Case report Investigations including pictures of fundoscopy are discussed.
Results	the multifocal choroiditis was due to a proven cryptococcus neoformans infection.
Conclusion	Case report about cryptococcal multifocal choroiditis in a HIV seropositive patient as the first manifestation of full-blown AIDS stage IV.
