| Title | Anterior segment imaging using OCT3-Visante ( ZEISS) |
| Purpose | To show OCT3 features of situations involving cornea and anterior chamber with different phakic lenses |
| Methods | We used the OCT3-Visante from ZEISS to observe different anterior chamber AND posterior chamber phakic IOL’s |
| Results | OCT3 can be a useful imaging technique for anterior segment surgery. This technique enables risk quantification and to inform the patient of the likelihood of its implant developing problems in the future. The ability to observe the anterior chamber even without corneal transparency helps understanding the anatomic mechanisms involved in visual defect. The limit of this OCT3 is the posterior chamber imaging since infrared are not able to cross the iris pigmented barrier. |
