The ICC will focus on novel developments in the field of inherited retinal dystrophies. New insights into the basic disease mechanisms acquired during recent years will be highlighted. In addition, an overview of current gene therapy trials for Leber congenital amaurosis and potential future treatment options for conditions such as X-linked retinoschisis will be discussed.
