The treatment of various forms of glaucoma have been tried for many years. The idea that lowering the pressure might be helpful was proposed long ago and at present, all resources are directed towards reduction of IOP and medical management is frequently the first choice. The philosophy of glaucoma management is to preserve the visual function and quality of life of the patients. In this ICC, we describe the scientific approach to medical management in NTG and OHT patients.
