One-month mini fellowship in cataract and refractive surgery
| Dear colleague or resident in ophthalmology, We are pleased to announce a vacancy for a mini-fellowship in anterior segment and refractive surgery for the month of October 2026. This is a one-month full-time fellowship, comprising both hospital-based and outpatient work. Candidates will have the opportunity to actively participate in consultations in refractive and general ophthalmology, and to perform surgery under supervision and/or independently. Cataract surgery using the Catalys laser, with monofocal, multifocal and EDOF lenses, ICL, femto-LASIK, SMILE and Presbyond, forms part of the weekly routine. The aim of the fellowship is to learn the fundamentals of refractive surgery, both diagnostic and surgical, in the shortest possible time—namely one month—and to gain experience in the calculation and selection of EDOF and multifocal intraocular lenses. A pleasant manner and a professional attitude towards colleagues and staff are considered essential. Please submit your application by email by 1 June 2026. |
