OB 2026 is accredited through RIZIV/INAMI and offers participants the opportunity to obtain both general accreditation points and Ethics accreditation points during the congress.
AOB aims to make the accreditation process as clear and straightforward as possible. To ensure that your attendance is correctly registered and your accreditation points can be processed smoothly, please follow the procedures below.
General accreditation – Congress attendance
Accreditation for the regular scientific programme is registered per congress day attended.
Please scan your personal congress badge once each day in the Cube Foyer – the glass hallway leading towards the scientific session rooms.
The badge scan must be completed onsite and personally by the registered participant.
Accreditation can only be granted on the basis of attendance registrations completed personally and onsite. We therefore kindly ask participants not to share badges or complete an attendance registration on behalf of another participant.
Ethics accreditation – Friday sessions:
The two Ethics Sessions on Friday have a separate attendance procedure.
To receive accreditation for an Ethics Session, participants must be present in the session room and complete two QR scans during that session.
The QR codes will appear on the main screen in the session room at random moments during the session.
This means:
2 QR scans are required for each Ethics Session
4 QR scans are required in total if you attend both Ethics Sessions
Both scans for a session must be successfully registered to receive the corresponding accreditation points.
Please make sure you arrive on time and have your phone charged and connected to the internet, either through your own mobile connection or the venue Wi-Fi.
When completing the QR form, please carefully check that your details — in particular your name and RIZIV/INAMI number — are entered correctly.
Check your confirmation
Following each successful QR registration, you will immediately see a green confirmation tick on your phone.
Please check for this confirmation before continuing. It confirms that your registration has been successfully received.
If you experience a technical problem with a scan, please inform the congress team during the session, while we still have the opportunity to assist you.
Attendance registrations are personal and onsite
Accreditation can only be granted on the basis of attendance registrations completed personally, onsite and at the required time.
Registrations that do not meet these conditions cannot be accepted as confirmation of attendance.
We therefore kindly ask participants not to share attendance links, QR codes or badges, or to complete an attendance registration on behalf of another participant.
Similarly, photographs of the session room or confirmation from colleagues cannot replace the required attendance registration. The successfully registered attendance scans are the basis on which AOB can validate attendance and allocate the corresponding accreditation points.
Thank you for your cooperation
By completing the required registrations correctly, you help us ensure that your accreditation points can be processed accurately and smoothly after the congress.
Attend the relevant programme, complete the required scans onsite, and AOB will take care of the accreditation processing afterwards.
